Software built by hand, not by committee.
JustCode is a one-person studio in Denmark. I build Kotlin Multiplatform and native Android apps that are fast, private, and pleasant to use — and I ship them end to end.
Selected work
LG TV Remote
A remote control for LG webOS televisions that lives on your phone. It finds your TV on the network on its own, mirrors every button you'd reach for, launches apps, and can even switch the TV on over Wi-Fi — all while keeping every connection on your own local network.
Built end to end with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose: one shared codebase for the interface, the webOS pairing and control layer, and the on-device discovery across Android and iOS.

A remote control for Samsung Smart TVs that lives on your phone. It finds your TV on the network on its own, mirrors every button you'd reach for, launches apps, and can even switch the TV on over Wi-Fi — all while keeping every connection on your own local network.
Built end to end with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose: one shared codebase for the interface, the Samsung pairing and control layer, and the on-device discovery across Android and iOS.

Groceries delivered to your door. BuddyBag lets people shop more than a thousand products from their favourite Danish supermarkets — Lidl, Netto and Rema 1000 — while a local shopper picks everything up and brings it round.
Real-time tracking of your shopper, in-app chat for handling substitutions, MobilePay or card payment, an uploaded receipt for every order, and shopper ratings that keep the community honest.

Nicolai Guldbæk Holst
Founder · Android developer
I work full-time as an Android developer, and I run JustCode to build the kind of software I want to use: small tools that do one thing well, respect your attention, and don't harvest your data.
Most of what I make is Kotlin Multiplatform — one shared codebase across Android and iOS — alongside native Android work. I handle the whole thing myself, from the first sketch to release.
